Some love stories find you before the wedding does. Alyssa and Matt first reached out two years ago for engagement photos, and from that first session I knew these two were something special. The Day, In Moments

The morning was soft and unhurried. Alyssa got ready surrounded by her closest people, and the joy in that room was the kind you can feel through a lens. Matt, steady and emotional in the best way, held it together right up until he didn't — and that moment is one of my favourite frames from the entire day.

The ceremony was outside with those mountains right behind them, which honestly, you can't beat. Guests were seated under open skies and the whole thing felt so relaxed and real.

Golden hour was everything. We snuck away for portraits while the light was doing its thing and Alyssa and Matt were just so easy to photograph. They were laughing, leaning into each other, totally comfortable. The mountains and the river behind them with that warm evening light — the photos came out so good.
